Base Types
All of the bases we offer are generated by a tool designed by a hobby community member Harem-Rose. This generator is free and available for anyone wishing to generate and 3d print their own bases. We modify the bases in a way which has granted us permission by Harem-Rose to sell printed versions. You can get the generator here.
We offer all 3 styles generated in all sizes complete with braces and magnet holes designed to fit our magnetic hobby model holders. The 3 styles available are traditional, straight and inverted.
Traditional
Bases are defined by their specified dimensions at the bottom, which is the side closest to the tabletop. They gradually narrow as they progress upward toward the model’s top. The shape of these bases aligns with conventional gaming bases, such as those produced by Games Workshop.
Straight
Bases are specified in uniform sizes from top to bottom, without any tapering. They are similar to cutouts made from materials like MDF or Acrylic.
Inverted
Bases feature specified dimensions at their top, positioned close to the model. As the base extends downward towards the table or surface, it tapers inward, narrowing its width. This tapered design enhances the ease of picking up bases from flat surfaces, particularly when they are magnetized.
